I learned four things about bees today:
1. Bees never, but NEVER stop moving, so...
2. you need the patience of a saint to attempt a photography session with them.
3. Bees really, really like to point their butts at you just when you get them in focus.
4. If you get a photo of a bee in flight you're either, really really lucky OR really really talented. Or both! :) ARRRRRRGGGHHH!
:) I have a hundred butt shots from yesterday and this morning. All nicely in focus but not what I was going for. One of my problems is I am not steady enough holding the camera so every little movement causes lots of blur. As with everything it is practice and sometimes a little luck!
@thirtysevenways Thanks for commiserating! I was feeling a little frustrated by those bees! However, I think I might have improved a tiny bit during the three hours I was out there. :)
