. . . of camping in grizzly country. Sadly, we never did see a bear at Yellowstone. Too many people. This card was stapled to our picnic table.

@kwind Yes, black bears are common in Michigan. I was terrified of encountering a grizzly, though. ;)

Bears are shy! It took us a few visits to see any. Though it may have been better for your blood pressure to not see any; some crazy tourists will try and chase down grizzlies to try and get a photo! Its terrifying.

Have a good friend who posted pictures of the grizzlies she saw while trail running at Yellowstone last week - three different ones in the three days she was there. Not sure I'd be running trails there!
