I took this photo on my way back from watching the starlings going to roost on Shapwick Heath. It has been such a bright sunny day I thought it would be ideal conditions for watching murmurations. Unfortunately most of the very large flocks had chosen to roost on the neighbouring reserve of Ham Wall tonight. Ah well.... I'll try there next time!
