What a lovely old building this is. Part of the derelict mill where the Quaker family Fox Brothers produced woolen fabric in the late 18th and early 19th century. It was here that they developed "khaki" dye which took over as the uniform for British soldiers replacing the famous "redcoats". It was earmarked for development but the recession has called a halt for now. When it is developed I do hope they keep some of its delightful character.
