Cow Parsley by julienne1

Cow Parsley

Lovely white lacy flowers growing in wonderful abundance along the side of all the lanes around here at the moment. It's supposed to be edible but it doesn't taste very nice! It can also be used as a fly repellent it you rub it on your skin.
Love cow parsley. Real sign of early summer. We have always called it "keck" in Leicestershire!

Awesome capture Julienne. Wouldn't think it would taste too good, if the fly's won't even get near it. :-)

@shepherdman - I've never heard it called "keck", but I do know that in some areas it's called " kill-your-mother-quick " for some reason and it's thought unlucky to have it in the house.

@rickster549 - I certainly don't fancy it!

nice shot. The way the little stems come out from the center is really interesting, and crisply captured.
