Ash Keys ready for pickling? by julienne1

Ash Keys ready for pickling?

I've never tried .... But apparently some people do! There are recipes online if anyone is interested :)
It's certainly not "fast food" because once made the pickled keys need at least three months to mature, They are said to be good with cheese .... Maybe I'll give it a try one year!
Never heard of this before, don't really know if I fancy them. I love the different shades of green in this shot.

Nope. never heard of this before. Will discuss it with the Little chef who is usually up for anything new. Lots of ash on our drive and lots of baby ash trees which are the bain of our garden!
