Warty tree

This is a strange little fungus called Beech Woodwart (Hypoxylon fragiforme) which grows on dead or dying beech wood. Each little fruiting body is less than half a centimetre across
Funny little things, they remind me of the fruit lychee. Great find and shot.

Hope they're not contagious. :-) Cool shot.
