Finally all the trees seem to have caught up after a slow start this Spring. This was taken yesterday in Breech Wood, High Ham, where I got completely and utterly lost. After about an hour of getting tangled up in brambles, stuck in bogs, and generally wandering round and round in circles while my unhelpful dog got muddier and muddier and a group of deer gazed on in complete astonishment, I managed to stagger back to where I started. It's not even that large a wood! Fortunately the firing range was not in operation .....
