This is White Bryony which has the most amazing tendrils that spiral both clockwise and anti-clockwise in almost equal amounts - the direction changes as it grows giving a distinctive kink that you can see on the upper tendril above, This strange formation allows it to attach itself to other plants and curl around it without the need for a "free end" of tendril. This makes it a very effective climber, allowing it to drape itself all over hedgerows and trees.
