... I came upon this tiny Water Rail chick early this morning at Ham Wall RSPB nature reserve. It didn't seem too bothered to see me - which is odd as Water Rails are very shy usually. It eyed me up and down for a while until its mother called to it from somewhere hidden in the reeds and it decided it ought to rejoin her!
