Yesterday's early morning visit to the Somerset Levels was a beautiful day with sun, a gentle breeze, and lots of wildlife to watch.... today is just about a right off with hardly a few minutes break from the rain! I'm sure the hardy birders would still have been at Ham Wall RSPB reserve today as well but I'm not one of them!
@gijsje That's Glastonbury Tor, a famous landmark hill of blue Lias rising up above the Somerset Levels. The building on top is a tower - all that remains of a 14th century church of St Michael. It's a favourite pilgrimage spot for all sorts of spiritual pilgrims.
