Pineapple Mayweed (Matricaria discoidea)

This amazing little plant survives in the poorest soil and in ravaged places like the entrance to gateways and other places where nothing else seems able to survive. When you crush it you get the most delicious smell of pineapple. It's a close relative of chamomile and you can make tea from the leaves as you would with chamomile.
Lovely story, and wonderful photo
