I find it very frustrating that I can never seem to capture a decent dragonfly shot! There are so many around at the moment and tantalise me by hovering or perching so close, right until I am about to press the shutter at which point they zoom off at speed! This one stayed still for a few seconds but grass isn't a good background for showing up those wonderful wings I'm afraid.
At least it landed! I'm having to contend with zoom zoomers who never stop, so all I get is a blur of orange! I'll have to make a night-time trip out to find some.
