Ivy berries by julienne1

Ivy berries

Strange little things aren't they! There aren't many left now ... the fieldfares have found most of them
Lovely shot! They look like little figs, with lids on.

I have tried to get decent shots of these so often, and failed. I am impressed!

@christophercox @rvm I have been reading about ivy , apparently it takes years for them to flower and fruit and they change their climbing habit to something more shrub like, also leaves change shape too when they mature, so all three lobed leaved ivies are too young to fruit.
