... but enough to make it very slippery on my dawn visit to Ham Wall RSPB nature reserve to watch the starlings take off from their overnight roost in the reedbeds. It was quite a long walk in the dark to get to the roost site because the flock has split and moved to a much more inaccessible spot! Typical!
