Another of the thrush family. They tend to gather together with Fieldfares (another thrush) at this time of year and are similarly shy and difficult to photograph so this one was quite a way away! I haven't seen many at all this year which is a shame - far more fieldfares.
I was lucky to get shots of one in the holly tree behind my house a couple of weeks back, and once, a couple of years ago too, but it is the feildfares frustrate me..even more flighty than the redwings!
