Lesser celandine - Ranunculus ficaria

Lovely to see celandines popping up now - it may not be very spring-like yet, but it can't be far off.
Lovely flower.

Don't you just love to see these bright yellow celandines along the sunny side of the hedgerows and banks? Always feels like spring when they're out. Lovely capture of this little flower.

What brilliant colour - lovely to see. Any chance of being able to create a bit of separation so you can throw that background right out of focus?

Lovely flowers ...
Unless in a garden where they are impossible to contain!

Love the design and veins evident in the flower. Very pretty.

Not too much reflection on the petals, I have lots of shots of these where the light just burns out patches of petal on a sunny day, well done , not an easy flower to photograph.
