Another early start for a dawn visit to Ham Wall RSPB nature reserve on the Somerset Levels. Once the sun rose the mist lifted and it was gloriously sunny and warm. But to hear the wonderful booming of the male bitterns you have to be up with the sunrise - and it's well worth it when you are surrounded in a magical misty orange glow to add to the atmosphere.
Such a dreamlike atmosphere and the most gorgeous colours. What a treat to witness this and I admire you getting up so early. The little ducks make this a perfect pic. Fav.
