Lots of these goings on in the insect world at the moment. This is called the "wheel formation". The blue male grabs the pale green female around the neck with his graspers and she moves her abdomen up to the underside of his second abdominal segment where he stores his sperm. She'll then go off to lay her eggs in nearby water.
