Beleaguered Hawthorn

This hawthorn is still hanging on despite being taken over by mistletoe. I posted a picture from 2017 when it still had some leaves https://365project.org/julienne1/365/2017-09-30 but it looks pretty sad now

Beautiful. Mistletoe doesn't usually throttle its host tree, they usually live quite happily together. We get strangler vines here and they really do kill their host eventually.
