I followed this brown hare into the field where her ran around for a while and then started running towards me - not seeing me until he was only a few feet away! He stopped to take a long hard look and then sped away in the opposite direction.
Hares do not have great forward vision and rely heavily on hearing so if you stay quiet, there's a good chance they won't know your there. A lovely capture of my favorite animal.
