Yorkshire Fog

One of the prolific UK grasses growing in most habitats. It's a food plant for Speckled Wood and Skipper butterflies. In America and Australia it's classed as an invasive species because it grows so freely and can smother other plants, but in the UK it sits quite happily with its neighbours.
