Also known by lots of other common names like Pigweed, Goosefoot, Fat Hen and many more. It's a wild plant often eaten by foragers, apparently tasting a bit like a cross between asparagus and spinach. Its seeds can be eaten like Quinoa which is a close relative.
This was another informative photo for me. In grade school I had an unusual science teacher that took us on a field trip and we ate weeds! This was one of them!! Glad to learn more about it! Thanks for the info and a trip down memory lane!
