Autumn berries 18: Lords and Ladies

This Wild Arum produces striking red/orange berries. They are toxic to humans and most animals, but are eaten by birds, especially pheasants.

Guess I'm smart to always avoid picking all berries unless I've planted them - kind of like mushrooms - never know the good from the bad. Nice color
