THE YEAR THAT WAS...2013

It is the eve of New Years Eve, as I reflect on the year that was.. Had a bit of a mixed bag, some happy times and some very sad times.. Started the year off with a trip to Sydney Australia to see my eldest grandie compete in an athletics comp, a very proud moment, Celebrated a family Reunion, 100years since my Mothers Family immagrated to NZ from the UK,.. The country suffered the worst drought for several years and this hit us pretty hard... In May saw us through the 1st year since we lost our beautiful daughter to that dreaded Cancer, It's been very tough, and still is but friends and family see us through,... My Mum become iller as the year went on and lost her battle in November,.. more reajustment.. My lovely cat Fluffy Bum had to be put down and I miss her alot,.. I have found great comfort in my photography, .. and have enjoyed several trips with my two camera buddies, one being a great trip down to the South Island that was alot of fun.. I get a hugh amount of fun out of my 5 beautiful Grandies and they are still pretty happy to let me take their photo,.. Looking through my photo's today and I realize just what a great country we live in.. thank you all for your continued support....Roll on 2014...

You have been through more than most Julia...I so admire your courage & determination to look forward. So many things to bear but a thankful heart too. The farming life is very supportive & you do live in a wonderful country...look forward to meeting you in February. I will exchange phone numbers before I go.
