Hot cross buns..

This is one of batch #2.. I usually make several batches over Easter and there is always different request for a 'special' recipe.. both so far a traditional.. spice and fruit.. DIL has requested chocolate I do this under protest.. also get request for spice but know fruit.. but nothing beats the real thing.....

Thank you so much for the surprise parcel that arrived this morning Julz.....I thought at first it was from one of the kids & was so pleased to see your name on the back! I will treasure it as a memento of our meet up! It will be put to very good use of course & I will think of you when I look at it!! I do indeed hope we get to meet up again although family off to pastures new soon I think!!!
