Frost followed by a beautiful day...

Auckland and surrounding area's had the coldest start to the day for 40years... but one thing you get with a frost is a beautiful day.. Visited a friend and her garden was looking spectacular as usual.. This is a view from her front lawn looking over to the pond, jetty and gazebo...

Always amazes me how you can have such cold nights yet quite hot days when the sun comes out! Just look at the reflection of the sky......so beautiful. I love it too that your trees are evergreen types so you still have lots of green & colour!
