Got a txt from my Sister to say her Vulcan Magnolia was looking good in the sunshine today.. so off I went.. had to do a bit of a balancing act on the garden chair.. but they are real beauties...

Fabulous deep colour. I have a pale yellow magnolia, which is rare in the UK, but I've never seen a magnolia this colour. So, so pretty.

@jillhempsall This one was breed by the Jury family here in NZ so I am unsure as to weather it is available in the Uk.. It is a very early flowering so nice to brighten our winter days.. I know the pale yellow one and it is lovely also.. Unfortunatly I can not grow them here as we are very exposed to coastal weeks..
