Eggplant Harvest

I had to harvest my Eggplant today as for some reason the plant has collapsed.. so it is Moussaka for tea tonight..

I think aubergine sound so much more interesting...
Try them sliced thinly and grilled - a snack similar to chips!!! Or thin slices grilled and then rolled with feta, lemon juice and walnut pieces - yum!

I know nothing about egg plants & had no idea their other name was aubergine. Far too fancy to be cooked in this house!! Makes a lovely photo....how can an egg plant collapse!
