Balloon over Waikato...

Had a very early start this morning as I decided to travel the 11/2 hours to Hamilton to see the start of the Balloon's over Waikato Festival.. as we drove down I was concerned it may not happen as it was quite foggy.. we arrived just as the sun was coming up and the fog started to lift.. and one at a time they had lift off.. most drifted of to the South but 3 went over the lake and headed toward the city.. very pleased about that as made some nice reflections on the lake, that was looking very atmospheric with the fog rising off the lake...

Where did you stand to get the best views???? Near where they take off or the other side of the lake?

We parked at the Hockey centre.. and walked to the park .. so right in amongst it.. most balloons went sth so you would miss them if you were on the other side of the lake.. @alinz Hope the weather behaves.. check out the FB page as has updates all the time..
