Tragedy at Sea... by julzmaioro

Tragedy at Sea...

It is hard to believe that this serene looking scene could claim the life of 3 people in two separate boating accidents a few day's later.. The local Search and Rescue have worked all hours to try and find these 3 men to no avail.. lets hope there is some answers for their families soon.. Just goes to show that this Coast has to be treated with a lot of respect..
Beautiful view but with mean side to it. Hope they are found

Beautiful shot, but such a sad tale. Hope they are found. A lot of people go out on the ocean without being fully equipped sometimes.

I do think there are a lot of people who do not respect the sea! Its hard to believe it can be dangerous when you see it as beautifully as this!

Very poignant photo with the sad news about the boaties. We were at Port Waikato on Monday and it really makes you stop and think. I had no idea when I posted my photo that people were missing.

Seen like this the sea seems benign and beautiful, but it is a sad scene when you know that lives have been lost. Lovely shot, Julia.

I love the colours and the horizontal lines expressed here. Never underestimate the sea.
