Anzac #6 Dawn Parade..

This was my view this morning at the Auckland Dawn Parade... Although not a great spot it was a great atmosphere and I pleased I made the effort to honour our Soldiers... We will Remember Them... This beautiful building is the Auckland Museum that at the moment is lit up red to commemorate Anzac..

What a fantastic effort everyone has made Julz......this is a stunning red roof. Over ten thousand NZ men lost their lives I believe .....going by percentages that is a very large chunk of your small population. Brave men indeed!

Fabulous shot and it must have been such an emotional morning. Being a military wife I have attended lots of Anzac Day and Remembrance Day services and each one has been very emotional.

@onewing Yes it was I alway's get a tear in my eye for the last post... My nephew played it at my Dad's Funeral 17 years ago..
