Had a bit of time to kill today while in town so we went to a lovely bit of bush just on the edge of town.. the Tree Ferns or Punga were looking very lush with all the rain we have had recently.. In the inset is the back side of the fern and this shows as to why it is called the Silver Fern and is worn on the chest of a lot of our National Sports teams.. All Blacks rugby team and the Silver Fern Netball team...
