I went with my Son and Grandkids to visit a Milking Goat herd.. They are in the middle of 'kidding' so it is a pretty busy time.. They milk 900 goats and plan to increase to 1000 over the next 12 months and as most Nannies have at least twins and sometimes triplets and the odd Quads the herd increasing quite quickly.. There is no shortage of 'kid cuddles' for this young lad on his Dad's farm..
Goats are the thing these days Jukz....over here too. I have been looking at prizewinning goat cheese today.....only looking as somehow I don't just fancy it somehow....silly I know. This is a lovely photo & the young farmer will have a great future on their goat farm .
