The Poor Knights lily is endemic to The Poor Knights Islands in the north of NZ.. It is a spectacular garden specimen if you are lucky enough to be able to grow it..

I love these - there is a particularly nice lot around the back of the Pukekohe Library - will have to see if they are flowering too. Love the way you have processed this.

An orange caterpillar creeping across this plant! It looks quite wiry in nature.....a very unusual plant!

@happypat very wiry. The flower would be about 12- 15 inches long and the leave are very leathery
