This rose is flowering beautifully in my garden at the moment.. It is a Rugosa Rose and any of you that know your roses will know that it can be a bit 'savage' with it's nasty thorns.. to the point that I am a bit scared of it and do not prune it as much as it should.. so it is allowed to have as much space as it likes.. As I was mowing the lawn today I was being rewarded with it's beautiful perfume.. The flowers are very fragile and petals drop very easily .. but I still look forward it every year..
