We live in a big Market Garden area of New Zealand and at the moment the Onion and Potatoes are being harvested.. They pull the plants and then leave them drying in the sun for a week or two until they are dry enough to bag and pack in the containers to be delivered to a supermarket near you.. The next time you cut into an Onion perhaps it is a Pukekohe Longkeeper...Grown hear on this lovely volcanic soil...
Great perspective and I love how your eye is drawn right into the picture. I will be chopping onions pretty soon as I am about to get dinner ready. I will think of you.
@tramway@leestevo@gilbertwood@beryl Thank you ladies... After clambering up the bank to get this shot I got back in the car and I was covered in sticky little biddi bids..
We try to grow enough onions to keep us going through through year as I probably use them 5 days out of 7 but mine are haphazardly planted. This is a great shot of a well organizational field. I like your perspective
