Today we visited the infamous 'Moeraki Boulders' on just a very short stretch of beach these boulders are scattered along the foreshore.. some are cracked open and they are made up of 'honeycomb' shapes.. as we have had a day of light drizzle.. it was a bit grey...
It does look rather grey. I was surprised when we visited them, they are not how I expected them to be. I guess it depends on the tide too. Sounds like you're having fun!
This is quite fascinating with unusual horizontal patterned reflections, giving the illusion of a huge spring. Unfortunately the photograph itself is lacking in contrast. If you shoot in RAW you will be able to bump up the contrast to make the picture more punchy. If it was mine I would change it to monochrome and with a RAW file you can use Photoshop (industry standard) or Lightroom to channel swap and make it a super picture! Hope you don't mind the critique?
