Silo Stay... by julzmaioro

Silo Stay...

Here is another shot of the Silo Stay that @dide and I stayed at last night ( Check out @dide last night shot.) each one of these Silo's is a motel unit and such a neat idea to stay in.. We were in the 1/2 size one on the left but the others were two story they are a lot more roomy than you would expect and very comfortable... In the real world these Silo's are used for grain storage by the farmers for stock food .. This morning I got up early to catch a bit of colour in the sky to add a bit more interest.
Lovely composition - good that you were able to catch some nice colours in the sky! Certainly a novel place to stay.

How unique. Love your tag. Did they serve whole grain toast and cereal for breakfast??

What an interesting style of accommodation. They'd have to be pretty well insulated :)

@merrelyn very well insulated with NZ wool. Not too hot in summer and cosy in winter.

I checked out where these silos where yesterday as I really fancied staying in one bug not quite in the right area for us unfortunately. A very intriguing concept.

Amazing to have those structures in your back yard so to say! Makes a super picture with all that shininess!

Love the lines and the silver colour.

Great shot but can't image staying in them as they still look industrial! The silver colour and touches of yellow make a good contrast in the shot

Well seen & nicely composed! They look like huge food tins, but thinking again; that is what they are! If you can lighten the darks a tad it will improve the image! Well done!
