Out of Season Magnolia.... Little Gem..

While visiting a friend today I saw that he Little Gem Magnolia had a few unseasonal flowers on.. She told me to take them home and take a few photo's.. This morning when I saw them they were perfect and then a few hours later they were starting to show signs of age... ( Don't we all.)..

Very nice, but to me has a funereal feel to the image. It is the sort of thing you would see engraved on a headstone, not that there is anything wrong with that!
