Hoods landing...

This is my usual 'go to' spot for an early morning shot, but today as I was going home I saw what great ligh was around.. This is near the mouth of the Waikato River and by the weekend this tranquil scene will be very busy.. As this is a favorite spot for duck shooters.. The season open's on Saturday for a month .. the ducks do have a sporting chance as there is a Santuary about 500 metres down stream..
