Pink ribbon appeal is on this month and at the end of this week I will be taking my turn to sit on a street corner collecting donations in return for a pink ribbon.. This is to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and to remind ladies to check and keep their Mamograms up to date..
I thought I would do a week of pink and if it reminds just one of you ladies ( and gentleman) to have a check then my job is done.
This is an appeal that is very dear to my heart after loosing a daughter to Breast Cancer 4 years ago...
Great shot and a timely reminder. I know from my own experience how important these checks are. So sorry to hear about your daughter it must help a little to know you are prompting others to have regular checks.
