Bush Longdrop.... by julzmaioro

Bush Longdrop....

To get to the beach we were at yesterday you have to drive through a pine forest.. I have shot this old I think disused Long drop a few times.. and it is probably the most attention it gets.. I liked the contrast of the lush bright green fern in the foreground against the rustic Longdrop or dunny..
At least you would get a nice view when you used it as well. We have long drops at many campgrounds here as well. Sometimes they are well looked after and don't smell bad at all, whereas other times you can barely go near them.

And I never knew what a " Longdrop " was , until I read this !! makes sense really - Lovely surrounds with the tall pine trees and the lush ferns in the foreground !

No doors?! That's what I call a room with a view!

A loo with a view. I haven't heard the term dunny before. This site is a fun place to learn new things

intriguing to wonder what the history of this shed is, and you've caught it in beautiful lighting and surroundings with the rich greens.
