Proud Nana moment....

Today I was 'Lake Side' to see my eldest Grand daughter do very well with her under 15 girls doubles rowing race ..
They were racing on the city waters of Lake Pupuke which is on the North Shore of Auckland. It was pretty breezy so did make it a bit choppy, but they handled the conditions perfectly and were only a short distance from 1st place but quite a gap to 3rd place..
They were presented with a silver medal for their efforts and had previously got 3rd place for the under 15 quad race...
