Rowing Regatta

Today Farmer George and I went South to Lake Karapiro to watch our eldest Granddaughter compete in the North Island high School Champs..
We have had another weather bomb pass through and it's not over yet... so not a very pleasant day either lakeside or on the lake.. she is doing very well in the circumstances... just hope the weather improves for tomorrow..
Apologies for the quality of the photo ... but it was that wet I did not get the camera out .. had to resort to the trusty phone, but need it for a diary shot..

I'm glad I can see this from within NZ! Rotten weather up there but here we can see the the competitors in what supposed to be the best lake for rowing. However it does look as if it could be a lot calmer for them!
