While @dide and I were on our Photography course we were enroute to another venue when Allan our tutor stopped infront of us .. he is always scanning the surrounding area to see what he can find .. the fog was drifting around this old shed beautifully, but pov from the road was no good.. so he hopped over a fence a walked through very long grass.. picked his way through a shallow stream and found the perfect pov for us.. we set up tripods.. but there was a hay feeder sitting right in the middle., he jumped the stream and shifted it... then just as we were ready to go he decided the doves that were sitting on the roof needed to be in flight ... so off he went again .. and replaced the feeder back to where it was ... all in the day's work for a Photography tutor...
Looks very cool on black..
Wow. Great photo and great dedication by the tutor. We stayed in Waipiata when we did the Otago Rail Trail and next to where we stayed were some old railway carriages converted into accommodation. And the pub was great. Neat little place
This was just opposite the trail.. we were having a laugh about all the bikers going through singing... what was your song.. one lot was 'home on the range..
Lovely capture. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all have our own photography tutor with us at all times!! I like the darkness of the tree against the greys
Well I am impressed with your tutor Julz, what a lot of attention to detail! Of course he was perfectly right as this shot is terrific! Fave. That course was worth its money obviously!
I'm impressed at the lengths he went to to get you a good shot. I need one of those people to come along with me :) A lovely moody feel to this shot, and great with the birds in flight.
