Today has been a very tough day as it mark 5 years since we lost our daughter to cancer. I have had some lovely messages sent to us along with this lovely verse sent to me this morning, I thought it belonged on a photo and perhaps even printed up.
This shot was taken while we were in the South Island a few weeks back on a evening shot at Blue lake St Bathens .. it was a very calm and serene spot and I did do some time reflecting on my memories, as Kylie is never far from our thoughts ...

A beautiful & apt verse Julz, it looks the perfect photo to accompany it too. It must have been very hard for you today, five years seems to mark a milestone somehow. You will never be far from your girl but I bet you would give your right arm for that cuddle. Strange that it's a date for celebration in our house but a sad day for you, it's a funny old world.
@happypat So right Pat... yesterday seemed harder than other years.. but when I see post's like yours it shows that the world just keeps on turning and there are good things out there... enjoy every moment..
Thanks for you kind words of support Julia - I am so appreciative of this. I must say my heart goes out to you on the sad loss of your daughter. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose a child. My children have been my strength throughout my ordeal.
A beautiful tribute to your daughter. I am sure she was with you when you took this photo. It doesn't get any easier does it. We do have to come to acceptance though. I strive to do that.
