Been a bit of a wet and dreary day today so I thought I would edit a few more shots from our South Island trip.
This is Poolburn Dam a place we had tried to go to twice before so we were really excited that we finally got there.. this was the view from our picnic spot .. I love how the reflection from the 'Island' fitted right into the gap in the rocks..
These little fisherman huts were scattered all around the lake..
@tracie8266 Not that I have been but it reminds me of the moon ... and I think the 'Island' looks like a UFO floating ... Certainly felt like we were on a different planet..
@julzmaioro it does look like the moon-it also reminded me of this amazing place just outside of Perth. Incredible what is just at our back door ae-NZ is a stunner
