In the Cabbage Patch... by julzmaioro

In the Cabbage Patch...

This is the shot I was going to put up yesterday until I saw that pretty sunset...
I spotted this when driving home yesterday and was taken in as to what a very healthy crop of cabbages this Market Gardener has ... the vege growers in the area have had it a bit tough as they lost parts of their crops with some heavy downpours over the last few months but these purple and green cabbages are doing very well and near harvest ..
Very impressive Market Garden

Very healthy looking crop. Love those lines leading the eye through to that wonderful tree in the background.

This a very cool. I like how the red cabbages suddenly turn green as if the plants got muddled as they planted that row.

Love the lines and patterns. How come this person can grow all these cabbages and caulis (or are they pak choy?) and I can't even grow half a dozen of them without attracting every cabbage moth for miles around?

@golftragic I guess the commercial growers have their secrets... they are all cabbages... not so many bugs around this time of the year... with the odd frost killing them off...

@julzmaioro Yeah, but I would love to grow winter vegies. Gave up, never got decent results, those plants that survived were full of caterpillar poo.
