This is another shot that I have done for our Camera Club theme of Telecommunication for next week.. The old phone has been in use as a means of communication from our house to the cowshed but when cell phones came out it became redundent, but I still love the look of it ... I can see a face with two beady eyes and a crooked smile ... This phone would of been the phone that was used for the family when 'party' lines where the thing ... I can remember that our phone number back then was 306R short long short.... How things have progressed in our life time ....
Super shot Julia! Progress yes, but not on every front - the smartphone will be responsible for a lot of issues in future society, I fear, but such a useful tool! And one I wouldn't be without!!!
gosh we had one of those on my parents farm..if not exactly the same...so very similar. I hate that I am of an age my childhood things are now in museums!!
